The art was beautifully rendered, the voice acting was nostalgic, and the music was artfully performed. I enjoyed it. :3

It was unfortunate that I had already watched the Toei version. I would've been on the edge of my seat more during this series if I didn't already know the entire plot inside out. Ah well, it's no fault of Kyoani.

This series did produce some interesting spin-off comments (and image) of the RG mechanic in Eternal Fighter Zero, which inherently contains characters from Kanon.
